The Mental Health Program enhances overall well-being by prioritizing awareness, early identification, care, and recovery. It promotes mental health literacy and works to reduce stigma, encouraging individuals to seek support without fear or discrimination. Through systematic screening of common and severe mental disorders, the program ensures timely diagnosis and intervention. It strengthens continuity of care through treatment adherence, home-based follow-up, and community-based rehabilitation. By engaging caregivers, families, and support groups, it fosters a supportive environment for sustained recovery and reintegration, while improving access to social security benefits to enhance protection, inclusion, and quality of life for vulnerable individuals.

STORY : A Journey of Healing

Suddu Paswan, a 24-year-old from a remote village in East Champaran, Bihar, was born into deep poverty, yet his early childhood was marked by happiness. A severe illness at age ten, left untreated due to limited resources, led to serious mental health challenges that gradually disrupted his life and strained his family emotionally and financially.
