What are the Out-Patient visiting hours?

Monday to Saturday :- 8:00 am till 5:30 pm

Thursday :- 8:00am till 1:30 pm

Sunday :- Closed

What is the OPD registration timing?

Monday to Saturday :- 8:00 am till 1:00 pm

Thursday :- 8:00 am till 11:30 am

Sunday :- Closed

What are the basic details needed to register a patient?

Below mentioned details are needed before registering a new patient:

  1. Patient full name
  2. Age/Date of birth
  3. Marital status
  4. Father/Guardian name
  5. Full address
  6. Aadhar number (Optional)
  7. Nepali citizenship number (for Nepali patients only)
What is the procedure of registering a new patient in OPD?

Please follow the below procedure:-

New Registration : Counter no – 10

For Revisit : Counter no – 11 & 12

For Medicine or Services Billing : Counter no – 3, 7 & 8

How do i make a payment?

Payments can be made through cash, net-banking, debit/credit cards or UPI.

Can i pay using foreign / Nepali currency?

We accept only Indian currency.

What are the In-patient visiting hours?

For In-patient wards, only two visitors at a time, with a visitors pass, are allowed at following times:

Everyday

Morning : 11:30 am till 12:30 pm

Evening : 7:30 pm till 8:30 pm

How to book an online registration?

So far, we offer only counter registration facility.

Is Aadhar card / number mandatory for registration?

For In-patients, it is mandatory, which can be produced at any time before patient is discharged.

For Out-patients, it is optional.

How can i avail a private OPD consultation facility?

So far, we have only general OPD consultation facility available.

Do hospital has a pharmacy service?

Yes, we have a well organized pharmacy for both Out and In-patient services.

How will i be able to know my patients condition & treatment details?

For in-patients, during visiting hours two persons are allowed, with whom patient’s details will be shared by the consultant / on-duty staff.

Does The Duncan Hospital has an emergency service?

Yes, we have a fully equipped 24×7 emergency services available at The Duncan Hospital. Please do visit our services section for more details.

Do hospital provide an ambulance service?

Ambulance service can be availed from outside the hospital.

How can i get a Birth/Death Certificate?

A Birth or Death certificate can be availed from MRD office, within office hours.

Is there any accommodation facility available for in-patient relatives to stay?

Yes, we have a Dharamshala facility available on a first come first serve basis with a nominal amount.

Is there a blood bank facility available at Duncan Hospital?

Yes, we have a blood bank facility to serve our patients. Please do visit our services section for more details.

From where can i get a visitors card?

A visitors card can be availed from billing / registration counters at the time of patient admission.

How many visitors cards are issued?

We practice to keep our hospital less crowded for patient benefit, hence two visitors cards are issued to each patient relatives.

What if i lost my visitors card?

It is expected to keep visitors card safe. Still if lost, can be re-availed IP from in-patient registration / billing counter

Is Covid-19 test facility available there?

No, currently we do not have Covid-19 test facility available with us.

Is there Covid-19 vaccination facility available there?

Yes, government run covid-19 vaccine facility is available in the OPD premises.

Does Duncan Hospital provides online consultation service?

No, so far Duncan Hospital does not provide online consultation.

What if i have a complaint / suggestion?

Kindly drop your complaint / suggestions in the boxes provided at several places, near OPD and IP building, or visit PRO office near Admin office, or visit our contact us section at our website.
